Actress Rita Edochie has debuted a new hairstyle on Instagram and used the post to hit back at critics. She wrote: "At least if you h@te me, you won't be too daft not to love my hair. Like, you don't even have a freaking choice!" and "As long as the only thing I do on this space is call a spade a spade."
The post comes while Judy Austin, wife of actor Yul Edochie, has taken Rita to court over Rita's public opposition to the marriage. According to Legit.ng, the matter was recently adjourned to November 2026, and footage from the hearing is circulating online.
Rita also recently criticised Judy over comments about women without Igbo titles wearing red caps, accusing her of hypocrisy. "As for me I will continue to glow, grow and give you more reasons to stare," she wrote.
