About Trending9ja

Trending9ja is a Nigerian news and entertainment blog covering politics, football, music, movies and the stories everyone is talking about. Our tagline says it best: Nigerian News. All the Buzz.

What we do

We follow the biggest Nigerian stories as well as major world developments that affect Nigerians, including politics in the United States and Europe. Every story on the site names the outlets it draws on and links to them in a "Sources" line so readers can check the original reporting.

Our editorial approach

• We credit our sources and link to them on every story.
• We label unverified claims as claims and attribute quotes to the people who made them.
• We correct mistakes promptly. If you spot an error, please contact us and we will review it.
• Photos are credited to their owners. If you own a photo and want it credited differently or removed, contact us.

Advertising

Trending9ja is supported by advertising. Ads are clearly labelled and are kept separate from our editorial content.
