Mayorkun on Wizkid: "It Can Happen Anytime, Honestly, and It Can Still Not Happen"

Mayorkun says there is no tension between him and Wizkid. Speaking as a guest on the Creative podcast, in a clip posted to Instagram on Thursday, 8 October, he said: "Big respect and love for Wizkid, I have been with him a couple of times and we've spoken too a couple of times."
On whether a joint record could happen, he was noncommittal: "It can happen anytime, honestly, and it can still not happen." He rejected the idea that fans should pressure Wizkid into a collaboration.
Asked whether he had inherited a feud with Wizkid through his association with Davido, he pushed back sharply: "Would you advise me to?" Davido attended Mayorkun's album listening party earlier to support him.
