Davido has praised Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama after a video of him at church went viral. Legit.ng says the clip shows Mahama at a Sunday service at the Assemblies of God Church, Ringway Gospel Centre, joining the line of worshippers heading to the altar with his offering and dancing along the way. He reportedly attended after returning from Sunyani on the Ahafo leg of his "Resetting Ghana Tour". Legit.ng did not independently verify the footage.
Davido shared the clip on his Instagram Story with the caption: "@officialjdmahama so humble. A leader." He had earlier commented on Mahama's introduction of his personal background in his address to the 81st UN General Assembly.
One commenter said they worshipped at the same church last month and saw Mahama attend like an ordinary member, without heavy security or protocol.
