Singer and activist Charly Boy shared a one-minute, 18-second video on X on Sunday, 11 October, with the caption: "Asari say make Tinubu surrender. Say country too hard. Bulaba never renew him subscription." By the time Legit.ng checked, the post had about 100,000 views, nearly 2,000 likes and more than 640 reposts.
Legit.ng rated the claim false. The speaker in the clip is Moses Theophilus Kenibara VII, the Amadabo of Moko-Ama in Sangana, Akassa Kingdom, Brass Local Government Area, Bayelsa State. Asari Dokubo is Amanyanabo of Torusarama Piri (Elem Kalabari) in Degema LGA, Rivers State.
Charly Boy is a public supporter of Peter Obi, the NDC's 2027 presidential candidate. The Legit.ng fact-check does not summarise what the Bayelsa monarch says in the video; it only establishes who is speaking.
