Afrobeats singer Victor AD (Victor Adere) posted an open letter to Tiwa Savage on X on 10 October. He said Tiwa recorded a verse for a remix of his song "Wetin We Gain," but the remix was never released, and Legit.ng says the collaboration "quietly fell through."
"I should have done this a long time ago, but It's never too late to take accountability for my actions," he wrote, adding: "Unfortunately, the remix never saw the light of day." He apologised for the outcome and offered no explanations.
Tiwa Savage replied in the comments: "I appreciate this. God knows the reason for everything. All love." Fans praised her response.
