Tinubu Orders Security Chiefs: Demolish Bandit Camps, Rescue All Abductees

President Bola Tinubu on Thursday directed heads of security agencies to demolish all bandits’ camps and rescue every abducted person across the country, while also ensuring a free, fair and credible 2027 general election.

The charge came during a lengthy National Security Council meeting at the State House. Defence Minister Christopher Musa confirmed the directive, saying the President wants no terrorist or bandit camp left standing and all kidnapped victims brought back safely.

The meeting also focused on creating an enabling environment for the 2027 polls. Tinubu is expected to attend APC campaign rallies in 12 states as the party releases its timetable.
