Atiku to Tinubu: You’re Ashamed to Face Nigerians But Want Second Term
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has accused President Bola Tinubu of being ashamed to face Nigerians directly while seeking a second term, instead sending governors, ministers and defectors to defend the administration’s record.
Atiku said Tinubu cannot ask for four more years while outsourcing accountability. His media team has challenged the President to personally defend his record ahead of 2027.
The exchange has intensified the early campaign season as opposition figures and the ruling party trade barbs over hardship, insecurity and economic reforms.
