President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday inaugurated the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) for the 2027 general elections at the State House in Abuja, urging members to “deliver your electoral wards” and secure votes.

“No one gets credit for an incomplete assignment until you deliver the next election, until you deliver your electoral wards, until you deliver the votes,” Tinubu told the gathering, which included Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and opposition figures such as FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, Anambra Governor Charles Soludo, and Osun Governor Ademola Adeleke.

The President signalled he would not campaign in every state, saying governance must continue: “You will excuse me from going everywhere with you. We have bills to pay. The American creditors cannot wait.” He described himself as the party’s “errand man” committed to the Renewed Hope Agenda.

APC National Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda charged the council to sell the administration’s achievements in infrastructure, power, and economic reforms. The formal campaign flag-off is scheduled for October 24 in Kaduna.
