Former Vice President and ADC presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has criticised President Bola Tinubu over the rising cost of living and insecurity, stating that the administration has made life increasingly hard for Nigerians.
“Bola made life expensive,” Atiku said, accusing the government of failing to address economic hardship despite reforms. The comments add to opposition pressure as the 2027 campaign season heats up.
Vice President Kashim Shettima has previously pushed back against opposition figures, including Atiku and Peter Obi, over their criticisms of the government’s record.
