The governor was dressed by Nigerian designer Ugo Monye in a regal off-white outfit. The clothing combined a traditional caftan with a kimono-themed design, which he paired with a beige fedora hat.
During the catwalk, Sanwo-Olu moved confidently across the stage while flashing peace signs and nodding to attendees. His appearance drew enthusiastic applause and cheering from the crowd in attendance.
