Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal has been crowned the Young Talent of the Year at the 2026 Ballon d’Or ceremony. According to Punch, the Spanish footballer claimed the prestigious accolade for the third consecutive year, reinforcing his position among the top rising stars in global football.
Yamal beat his club teammate, defender Pau Cubarsí, who placed second in the voting. Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Warren Zaïre-Emery finished third on the list, while German player Lennart Karl and Ivorian forward Yan Diomandé rounded out the top five positions respectively.
Other players featured in the top ten ranking include Morocco's Ayyoub Bouaddi in sixth position and Kerim Alajbegovic of Bosnia and Herzegovina in seventh. French player Junior Kroupi placed eighth, followed by Algeria’s Ibrahim Maza in ninth, while Swiss player Johan Manzambi claimed tenth spot.
