Atiku Promises Gaming Sector Boost After Lagos Life Game Secures $500k
Atiku Abubakar has promised to back Nigeria's video game industry after local browser game Lagos Life attracted $500,000 from angel investors, according to Vanguard.

The All Progressives Congress in Delta has promised to focus on issue-driven campaigns ahead of the 2027 general elections. According to Punch, the party disclosed this in Asaba while introducing members of its publicity team, which is led by Charles Aniagwu.
Aniagwu stated that the campaign will highlight the achievements, policies, and welfare programs of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori. He noted that other team leaders include Vice Chairman Valentine Onojeguo and Secretary Timi Tonye, alongside Festus Ahon, Kelly Okolugbo, and Jackson Ekwugum.
Furthermore, the committee chairman warned political actors against engaging in electoral fraud or making provocative statements that could incite violence. He stressed that nobody is above the law and urged politicians to rely on security agencies rather than taking laws into their own hands during the election period.
