Grammy award winner Burna Boy handed the Socrates trophy to Arsenal star Bukayo Saka during the 2026 Ballon d’Or ceremony, according to Vanguard. The popular Afrobeats singer stepped onto the stage to honor the England player at the prestigious gathering.
The Socrates accolade acknowledges players who dedicate time to charitable works and driving social changes outside their sports careers. Saka, who represents the Premier League club Arsenal, earned recognition for his contributions toward humanitarian causes beyond his performances on the pitch.
