Dr Olusegun Osinkolu, the Peoples Democratic Party flagbearer for Ekiti North Senatorial District in the 2027 polls, has pledged to deliver accessible and people-focused leadership if chosen by voters. According to Punch, he gave this commitment during a tour across five local government areas within the senatorial district.
The politician visited Moba, Ido/Osi, Ilejemeje, Oye, and Ikole LGAs to engage with residents and party members. He claimed that the zone had suffered neglect due to poor representation at the National Assembly, promising to reverse the trend by securing vital federal projects for the constituency.
Osinkolu promised to focus on empowering women and youth, enhancing healthcare, advancing agriculture, and upgrading education standards. He urged PDP members to maintain internal unity and strengthen grassroots campaigns, expressing confidence that the party will secure a massive victory during the upcoming 2027 elections.
