42 Delta Trade Unions Back Tinubu, Oborevwori, Dafinone For 2027
A coalition of 42 trade unions in Delta State representing over 120,000 informal workers has declared support for President Bola Tinubu and APC candidates in 2027.

The management of Taraba State Polytechnic has publicly rejected a recent media report claiming that residents of Jalingo are opposed to moving the institution to Suntai.
According to a disclaimer issued on November 2, 2026, by the institution's Public Relations Officer, Mrs. Varisca E. Habila, the school clarified that the publication was an artificial intelligence-generated write-up. The statement noted that the article, which appeared on a local internet platform, was released without any authorization, approval, or endorsement from management.
Mrs. Habila emphasized that the polytechnic has no connection to the claims or conclusions made in the online report. She stated that any official updates regarding the planned move to Suntai will only be shared through official campus notice boards and verified social media channels.
The institution also raised concerns about photos attached to the report. Management noted that the individuals presented as students in the photographs are not registered with the polytechnic, while the entrance gate shown in the publication does not belong to the school, though these details remain subject to final verification.
Urging the public to ignore the publication to avoid falling for misinformation, the school reiterated the commitment of its council, management, and staff to Governor Agbu Kefas. The statement reaffirmed their full support for the governor's efforts to enhance educational standards across Taraba State.
