Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Launches 2027 Kogi Central Re-Election Campaign
Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has kicked off her re-election campaign in Kogi Central ahead of the February 2027 senatorial poll, according to Punch.

A coalition comprising 42 trade unions in Delta State has announced its decision to support President Bola Tinubu, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and Senator Ede Dafinone for the 2027 general elections, according to Vanguard.
The alliance, operating under the umbrella of the Delta State Informal Sector Association, brings together more than 120,000 artisans and informal workers throughout the state. The group also extended its endorsement to all candidates running on the platform of the All Progressives Congress.
Representatives of the association made their position known during a solidarity visit to Senator Dafinone, who represents the Delta Central Senatorial District.
While receiving the group, Senator Dafinone commended the trade unions for forming a single body. He stated that the initiative would enhance political participation and strengthen grassroots mobilisation across Delta State.
The lawmaker added that the broad network of the association offers a strong foundation for connecting directly with traders, artisans, and other informal sector workers ahead of the upcoming election cycle.
