D'Tigers forward Precious Achiuwa put up a strong performance for the Sacramento Kings, scoring 24 points in their 132-120 defeat against the New Orleans Pelicans. Despite his effort, Sacramento remains without a victory in the 2026/27 NBA season, according to Punch.
The Kings started the game well by securing the opening quarter 30-24 at the Smoothie King Centre. However, the host team dominated the subsequent quarters, outscoring Sacramento 39-31 in the second and 39-27 in the third to take control of the contest.
Achiuwa finished the game with 24 points, nine rebounds, and four steals across 41 minutes on the court. His teammate Darius Acuff Jr. topped the scoring chart with 34 points and 14 assists, while Domantas Sabonis grabbed 15 rebounds in the away fixture.
