NAF Recovers More Parts of Crashed ATR Aircraft in Ondo

The Nigerian Air Force has recovered additional components from its ATR 42-500 aircraft that crashed in Igbokoda, Ondo State, as multi-agency teams continue round-the-clock operations.
Specialist divers from the Nigerian Navy and Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau are conducting underwater searches supported by hydrographic surveys, satellite imagery, mud excavation, and water pumping. The crash on October 5 killed 25 people.
Ondo State has ordered river fumigation amid fears of health risks from unrecovered remains and possible pollution. Senate, House, and NAF probes are ongoing.
