A federal judge ordered on Sunday night that the administration stop airing the remaining TV ads paid for with taxpayer money, Political Wire reports. The ads cost up to $20 million ahead of the midterms and many look like campaign spots. The administration argued a court need not rule on the watchdog's lawsuit because the run ends Sunday.

CNN reports Trump is weighing removing Kimberly Guilfoyle as ambassador to Greece over reports she accepted lavish gifts and sought money for access before her confirmation. The Sacramento Bee reports Gov. Gavin Newsom is considering commuting the sentences of all 563 people on California's death row.

On the Senate map, an InsiderAdvantage poll of likely voters (±2.83%) has Democrat Adam Hamilton at 48% to Roger Marshall's 47% in Kansas, and Democrat Abdul El-Sayed at 48% to Mike Rogers's 46% in Michigan. Senate Republicans' fundraising arm is now spending in Kansas.
