Felabration 2026 Heads to Grand Finale Tomorrow – Fearless Powers Rap & Dance Challenges
Live energy continues at New Afrika Shrine; Femi, Made & Seun Kuti among headliners.
Music lovers went fully offline on Monday night as veteran musician Yinka Alakija and the Prime Owest Band took the stage at the New Afrika Shrine in Ikeja, Lagos, as part of Felabration 2026.
The performance ran deep into the early hours of Tuesday, celebrating the musical legacy of Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti. The week-long festival, themed “Who Are You?”, runs from October 12 to 18 at the Shrine — pure live energy, no screens, no streams, just the sound, the sweat and the shrine.
Businesses around the Afrika Shrine saw heavy patronage as fans packed the venue. Attendees described the night as pure offline vibes: “You come, you feel the music, you leave with the rhythm still in your body.”
Other nights feature live bands, emerging acts, and headliners including Femi Kuti, Made Kuti and Seun Kuti. This is the real offline experience — go, dance, and feel it.
