Foreign investors holding a Golden Visa in Dubai can now secure a 10-year residence permit for their parents by paying AED 5,774.50, according to information published on the United Arab Emirates government portal and reported by Legit.ng.
The publication revealed that the application procedure involves a four-stage process designed to allow parents of visa holders to stay long-term in the city. To begin, individuals sponsoring their parents must physically visit an official government service station to lodge their application.
During the initial visit, applicants must submit all required paperwork and pay the official fee of AED 5,774.50. After submitting the documentation, the parents must complete a medical assessment conducted at the service facility to fulfill health clearance guidelines.
Upon successful completion of the health checks and document verification, the official residence permit is generated and delivered directly to the sponsor's email address. The scheme aims to make long-term residency more attractive for global investors, entrepreneurs, and skilled professionals seeking family stability in the UAE.
