The NFL announced on 17 September that Burna Boy (Damini Ogulu) will headline the halftime show at the 2026 NFL Paris Game on Sunday, 25 October, at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis. The Pittsburgh Steelers face the New Orleans Saints in the league's first regular-season game in France.

It builds on history: in April 2025, Burna Boy became the first African artiste to headline a solo concert at the Stade de France, reportedly selling out all 80,000 tickets. The NFL called him "a fitting performer for the occasion," citing his international profile.

NFL executive Tim Tubito said African music has an important presence in Paris. The league has not yet announced the full details of Burna Boy's set. Other acts named for international games include Jonas Brothers, Ricky Martin and Ayra Starr.

In July, Ripples Nigeria also reported that Burna Boy had broken Wizkid's record as the highest-streaming African artist of all time.
