Daily Living Costs Drove US Midterm Voting, Says Nigerian-American Lawmaker Adeyina
Nigerian-American lawmaker Segun Adeyina says voters in the US midterm elections prioritized personal financial issues over political party slogans.

The Australian government has officially outlined the cost of applying for its citizenship using Form 1300t, as revealed in a official public document reported by Legit.ng.
According to the report, standard applicants submitting the form are expected to pay an official processing fee of $595, which converts to approximately N551,262.
However, a lower concession rate is available for individuals who meet specific criteria established by immigration authorities. Qualified candidates under this reduced structure will pay $85, which is roughly N78,751.
Legit.ng noted that prospective foreign applicants, including Nigerians, should confirm their eligibility for the reduced rate directly with Australian immigration officials before submitting their funds alongside the Form 1300t paperwork.
The report also mentioned that Australia previously opened its military recruitment to permanent residents from four countries: New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada. Eligible individuals from these nations can join the Australian Defence Force if they satisfy necessary residency and security requirements.
