Analyst Claims Tinubu's Policy Record Boosts 2027 Reelection Bid

A legal analyst, Anyakweh Miracle Amadi, has stated that President Bola Tinubu's key policy achievements since May 2023 firmly place him in a strong position for the 2027 presidential election. Speaking to Legit.ng, Amadi highlighted over a dozen major reforms across security, taxation, infrastructure, and energy.
Amadi pointed to significant economic changes, including the consolidation of taxes and tax exemptions for low earners and small businesses. He also cited report figures showing growth in foreign reserves to about $65 billion, a rise in foreign direct investment, and a decrease in inflation to 14 percent.
The analyst further highlighted security and power sector reforms, such as the Electricity Act enabling state power generation. Additionally, Amadi noted that a unified identity database established under national identity laws helped security forces identify seven Boko Haram commanders who were hiding among returning pilgrims.
